The Science of ZORVANT Discs

ZORVANT carbon ceramic rotors feature a 3D continuous carbon fiber matrix, meticulously engineered to prevent delamination under extreme thermal shock. This architecture ensures unparalleled structural integrity and consistent performance, even at track temperatures exceeding 1400°C.
Unlike chopped fiber alternatives, our continuous weave design distributes stress uniformly, eliminating hot spots and micro-fractures. This results in superior durability and a predictable friction coefficient across the entire operating range, delivering confidence when it matters most.

Raw carbon fiber preforms undergo vacuum-assisted chemical vapor infiltration, embedding silicon carbide within the matrix for extreme hardness and thermal stability.
Rotors are subjected to controlled high-temperature sintering in inert atmospheres, transforming the composite into a dense, monolithic carbon ceramic structure.
Each disc is precision-machined to OEM specifications using multi-axis CNC, ensuring perfect fitment and optimal surface finish for consistent pad engagement.
Every rotor undergoes dynamic balancing to eliminate rotational vibration, providing smooth operation and preserving wheel bearing longevity at high speeds.
